Our private beach here means that you can fish, swim, and canoe. We have a padlocked beach hut, where you can store your belongings.
The private fishing from Widmouth Farm's rocks is regarded by locals and angling clubs as some of the best hotspots in the area.
Tarka Trail: Over 30 miles of the Tarka Trail is available to cyclists between Braunton and Meeth, using the old railways of North Devon. Passing through the largely unspoilt countryside as it was described by Henry Williamson in his classic novel ‘Tarka the Otter’ first published in 1927.
There are a variety of riding stables in the area, to cater for all abilities.

South West Coast Path. The South West Coast Path is England's longest waymarked long-distance footpath (and one of the longest in the UK) and a National Trail. It stretches for 630 miles (1,014 km), running from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset.
The North Devon beaches offer superb surf which is an irresistible draw for long and short boarders across the country. Known for our water sports, you can try your hand at almost anything – from surfing and paddle boarding, to sailing and diving, not to mention kiteboarding and kayaking!
